Pennsylvania Women's Press Association


Membership is open to anyone who works in a newsroom, journalism professors and freelancers whose work is published in newspapers.

Dues are an affordable $25 per year and entitle you to meeting invitations, participation in PWPA’s newsletters and entry in the contest. Memberships expire on Dec. 31 of each year. Any membership submitted after July 1 will expire Dec. 31 of the following year.

» Need to sharpen your leadership skills? In PWPA, you can be a leader.
» Our annual journalism contest has 20 categories: general news story, sports story, home story, feature story, series, editorial, education, health/science, layout, headline writing, travel/arts/entertainment story, interviews/profiles, in-depth report, business/consumer story, columns, multimedia projects, photography, religion, outdoors/environmental, rookie reporter.
» You could win the contest, collect a $250 prize and be Newswriter of the Year.

There are two membership options: professional and college. Professional membership is available for all professional journalists. College membership is available for students in college.

Memberships can be paid  online using the PayPal options below or checks can be mailed to the address below. For multiple membership dues, please pay by check.
