annual meeting and awards luncheon

The Pennsylvania Women’s Press Association general membership meeting is scheduled to take place during this year’s Pennsylvania Press Conference at the Penn Stater hotel and conference center in State College.

The membership meeting will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 21. Our annual awards luncheon will immediately follow at noon. Cate Barron, executive editor of The Patriot-News in Harrisburg, will be the guest speaker during the luncheon.

Larry Alexander, news reporter for the Intelligencer Journal/New Era, will to talk about the books he published and how he expanded from journalism to include the writing of historical non-fiction books. You can see them here.
